When I started my infant registry, I was so confused by the Sophie buzz ... I imply seriously? Even more than 20 bucks for a teething toy? WHY? But the evaluations raved about Sophie, so I figured what the heck & included it. Sure enough, somebody purchased this for my little girl & oh. my. lord. She LOVED it from the really starting. It was the very first toy that she showed any sort of preference for or interest in. She gnawed Sophie's legs, ears & nose without mercy for the very first 8 months of her life. So yeah ... Sophie's worth it. My daughter is now 14-months-old & not chews Sophie ... now she places her in her toy purse & carries her around:)

Two words of caution:
1. If you fully immerse Sophie, she stops squeaking until she's entirely dried out. I washed her & immediately handed her back to my daughter ... you could only imagine the sadness that followed with she squeezed Sophie & there was only a small, unfortunate gurgling noise.
2. Sophie's squeak is SO loud. Do not enable her to accompany you into church, a conference or anywhere that loud squeaking isn't really smiled upon. I have actually needed to banish Sophie more than as soon as in a bistro when I begin getting the hairy eyeball from fellow consumers.

My little girl is virtually 5 months old and she adores Sophie!

One of the most effective things about Sophie is that she is effortless to hold onto (both due to the fact that of the form and texture). My daughter particularly adores to chew on Sophie's horns and ears, and additionally her face. My daughter likes to utilize her legs for keeping her; not typically for chewing.

Also, Sophie squeaks! I didn't realize she was a squeaky toy until I pulled her out of her box.

Our dog is really curious about Sophie, too. Whenever I squeak Sophie for my little girl, the dog really benefits up. I'm going to have to be mindful not to leave Sophie out, because I think our dog would most likely claim her if I'm not mindful.

Highly advised! This is a terrific teething toy!

When we got residence from playschool today, we had a bundle hanging around by the door. It was Sophie !! My little girl is 9 weeks old and until today she had no toys! I opened the box and held Sophie in front of my baby. She stared intently at the attractive little toy and her hands began to open and close. I put Sophie where child could possibly reach and she grabbed hold of her! Perfect size for a baby toy and so soft! I can easily imagine it will be great when baby gets to teething too. I can see just how some call it a glorified dog toy, but it is not made of the same stinky rubber as a dog toy and the paint on Sophie is meals grade. I think the price is a little high however we think in just buying the kids a few well made quality toys as opposed to a lot of economical plastic junk.

I enjoy this toy and will certainly provide it to every brand-new parent that I know! This is the only toy with sound that we possess that does not have clear packing tape on the speaker! (Every other toy gets the "tape treatment" once it gets in the residence!) New music quality is excellent and the tracks play for longer than most toys, so you don't have to reach over and hit the button as often!

We never make a roadway journey with out it. It has helped soothe our child given that he was 2 months old. He's now four months old and this still holds his attention magnificently and he likes it much more now that he has identified ways to push the button. We call it the child whisperer and have accomplished it to EVERY expecting parent we understand.

This is our new favorite game! Our girls are 9 and 4 1/2, and we play it every weekend. At first, I thought it was a little challenging for the kids (the 2 - and three-star cards are still way too difficult for them, AND me!), but it was simply challenging for me. My left brain kept wishing to take over the building process, but the children have no difficulty at all and have actually gotten fairly efficient structure and guessing. Also the four-and-a-half year old can easily play. So much fun!
